Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Saul ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Saul Inc.

2. Description of Service

Saul is a technology platform that enables legal professionals to upload video and audio evidence files, obtain AI-assisted transcriptions with speaker labels, and review AI-detected key moments. Saul is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing produced by the Service constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to use the Service in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to evidence files and other content you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant Saul a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You represent and warrant that: (a) you have all necessary rights to upload and process Your Content; (b) Your Content does not violate any applicable law; and (c) you have obtained any required consent from individuals whose voices or likenesses appear in Your Content.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to process
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the infrastructure
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service

6. Payments & Refunds

Transcription and analysis fees are charged per file at the time of processing. All payments are processed by Stripe. Fees are non-refundable once transcription has commenced. If a transcription job fails due to a platform error, we will process a full refund within 5 business days.

7. Accuracy Disclaimer

AI-generated transcriptions and key moment detections are provided for informational purposes only. They may contain errors. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all outputs before relying on them in any legal proceeding or other context.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JURIX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO JURIX IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@usesaul.com.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice by email before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
